Effective Remote Learning | GLOSSA Language School

GLOSSA Language School has been operating in the educational sector since 1997. It offers a wide range of language education services including language courses, representation of foreign language schools, and publishing services, e.g. their series, "POLSKI step by step." The school also provides online teaching of Polish as a foreign language on the interactive platform, e-polish.eu. Online courses have been available since 2010, and the offer has been constantly enriched and developed ever since.

Along with this, there are regular training sessions for teachers provided by the school on their YouTube channel, such as the "Lessons with JUNIOR" series. Moreover, the school consistently hosts webinars and online workshops designed for both students and educators. The school organizes language camps overseas for young individuals and language courses abroad for adult learners. They also provide in-company language training.

The educational platform e-polish.eu was established in 2010 and initially offered resources for teachers. In 2012, the platform evolved to include remote lessons, using the school's internal tools and Skype for audio-video transmission. These lessons allowed the tutor to view and assess a student's work on any given exercise. However, the format had its limitations as it lacked the interactive, face-to-face component critical for engaged learning. The onset of the pandemic in 2020 let school owners to seek ways to incorporate audio-video transmission into their system of online classroom tools.

Thanks to the collaboration with LiveWebinar Enterprise in March 2020, the owners of GLOSSA School were able to smoothly reorganize their course delivery to be conducted remotely in a highly engaging and interactive manner.
